James Gerald “Jim” Parker was born Aug. 13, 1933, to AT and Martha (Wilkins) Parker in Bradley, Oklahoma. He gained his wings on July 31, 2022, at his home. Jim worked for the City of Bristow for 11 years, retiring in 2019. He was an avid racehorse trainer for many years.

Floyd Wayne Murphy

Floyd Wayne Murphy was born April 15, 1962, to George Francis and Mary Anna Murphy in Ada. He departed this life July 31, 2022, at the age of 60. He attended Bristow Public Schools and then enlisted in the United States Army. Floyd had worked in many capacities in the oilfield.

Agatha June Asher, the daughter of Harry and Althea Bullington, was born Nov. 16, 1928, at her home just outside Greenfield, Missouri. She departed this life July 22, 2022 at the age of 93 years. June, as known by most, was a 1947 graduate of Central High School in Tulsa.

Shirley Jean Robbins

Shirley Jean Robbins was born April 24, 1946, in Houston, Texas. She departed this life July 12, 2022, at the age of 76. Shirley Jean Mathews and Charley Carter were married for several years. From this union were born four sons, Charley Carter, Jr., Clifton and Clifford Carter, and Floyd Carter.

Abreanna Lee Proberts was born Feb. 17, 2004, to Timothy Proberts and Shannon Livezey in Cushing. She departed this life July 6, 2022, at the age of 18. She was a current student at Bristow High School looking forward to her senior year.

Earl Hart Jr.

Earl Hart Jr. known to many as “Ray” was born Dec. 21, 1946, to Earl and Arvealen Hart in Bristow. He departed this life June 25, 2022, at the age of 75. Earl was a lifelong Bristow area resident. He attended Bristow Public Schools. Shortly after high school he enlisted in the United States Army.

Ethan Allen Bigpond

Ethan Allen Bigpond was born April 5, 1937, to Kessler and Lucille Bigpond in Claremore. He departed this life June 24, 2022, at the age of 85. He was a 1956 graduate of Bristow High School. He then attended UCLA where he graduated with his Bachelor’s in Business Administration.
