Dale was born on April 2, 1934 in Bristow, to Bertha (Teegarden) Strickland and Alton B. Strickland and passed away on Aug. 9, 2022 in Kiefer. He was married to Sondra Strickland whom preceded him in death on Dec. 26, 2013.
Dale was preceded in death by his son, Joe Dale Strickland; sisters, Wanda Lynn Thompson, Claudia Sue Henderson and Nola LaVelle (Garrett) Buller.
Survivors include his daughters, Lynn Strickland and husband Mark Whinnery of Drumright, Tina Martin and husband Terry, of Drumright, Jami Strickland, of Drumright; sons, Mike Strickland and wife Judy, of Drumright, Doug Strickland and wife Lisa of Kiefer; grandchildren, Allison Cartwright, Christina Conley, Amanda Levis, Jeremy Glimp, Ryan Strickland, Chantz Strickland, Parker Strickland, Gage Strickland and Jorden Carlson; 17 great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and loved ones.
