The Fourth of July is getting near and everyone is ready for that family barbeque and fireworks. Even though the Bristow Police Department puts on a great show, a lot of people enjoy setting off their own firework show. We all know that setting off fireworks inside the city limits is not permitted without a permit. Safety is always the first and of utmost importance on this particular day.
You can purchase a permit for $25.00 at city hall which will allow you to set off Class 1.4G fireworks inside the city limits. The only firework not permitted inside the city limits with a permit are bottle rockets or sky rockets. These are still banned. Purchasing the permit allows you to shoot off fireworks from July 3 – July 6 from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
