The idea for Mail This! Ship That! all started with a simple need: folks in Bristow were having to drive to Sapulpa, Tulsa, or other nearby towns just to mail a package or handle returns. Seeing how much of a hassle that was, a local family decided it was time for something closer to home. 'It wasn’t just about opening a store,' they said. 'It was about helping our town and building something we could all be proud of.'
Of course, getting the doors open wasn’t easy. After setting up their LLC and preparing their first location, FedEx turned it down — they needed a retail storefront. Just at the right time, a great spot on Main Street became available that same week. They jumped at the chance, signed the lease, rolled up their sleeves for renovations, and got busy setting up services with USPS, FedEx, and UPS.
Right from the start, the Bristow community showed up in a big way. 'People were excited to have a local place to ship packages, rent mailboxes, and take care of business needs,' said Calep. Local business owners offered support too. 'It really feels like we’re all part of the same team,' he said. 'That support means everything.'
Today, Mail This! Ship That! is more than just a shipping store. Along with mailing and package dropoffs, customers can rent private mailboxes, buy packing supplies, and access notary services. They also offer business services like printing, faxing, and document shredding. Calep’s other business, QuikServe Statewide, provides mobile notary and process-serving services, with plans to integrate those services even more closely soon With the recent closing of D&D Office Supply, the family is also working to keep services like awards and trophy engraving available in town.
'We’re praying for guidance and doing everything we can to keep those services alive for Bristow.'
Looking ahead, Calep is building a local pickup and delivery option to make life even easier for folks around town. As the business grows, one thing stays the same: 'We’re here for Bristow,' the family shares. 'We just want to keep serving, growing, and giving back to the town we love.'
