A Special Election has been called for the vacated / unexpired term for State Senate District 8 seat, County Election Board Secretary Vicki Martin said today.
Martin said that Creek County voters living within Precincts 411, 412, and 413 are part of this Senate boundary.
This area affects only the communities of Depew, Milfay, Gypsy, and Slick.
Early In-Person voting days at the Creek County Election Board office are: Thursday, February 27 and Friday, February 28 from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Special Primary Election Day is Tuesday, March 4, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm at the precincts listed above.
Special Run-off Election Day is Tuesday, April 1. *If a Special Runoff Primary Election is not necessary, the Special General Election shall be held Tuesday, April 1.
Special General Election Day is Tuesday, May 13.
