With autumn just around the corner, it ushers in county fairs. Creek County Fall Free Fair will be held this year from Sept. 18 – Sept. 21. at the fairgrounds in Kellyville. The fair promises to offer a little something for every member of the family.
While the fair presents competitions, shows, tasty fair food, and carnival rides, it also offers agricultural aspects that involve livestock shows, horticultural exhibits, 4-H exhibits including displays of photographic, artistic, and educational works, farm technologies, and exhibits of handmade crafts and goods.
The open rodeos will feature a variety of talent and events as well. Some of those events include bareback and ranch bronc riding, ladies barrel racing, bull riding, tiedown calf roping, pee wee barrel racing, junior barrel racing, breakaway roping, ladies breakaway roping, team roping, along with various other events and even a trick rider.
Great Plains Amusement will erect a ferris wheel, tilta whirl, spider, merry-goround, bumper cars, zipper, train for kids, sizzler, and more to the delight of ticket holders. Rides and carnival attractions will be available from Thursday to Sunday within specific hours. Wristbands for rides will also be available for purchase on site.
