According to a CDC (Center for Disease Control) study, Oklahoma is among seven states to have 30 percent or more adults who are considered physically inactive.
Twenty five percent of adults in the United States are considered to be physically inactive. Inactivity in adults is defined as not participating in any physical activities outside of work, usually over a course of a month.
The Center of Disease Control says getting the right amount of exercise can prevent one in 10 premature deaths. It is recommended that adults get at least two and a half hours of moderate physical exercise each week. only two and a half hours one time a week can change your life.
Within the next five years, the CDC is hoping to get 27 million adults physically active.
