Police have arrested four men who are accused of leaving a dead longhorn on the front lawn of a rival fraternity at Oklahoma State.
A dead longhorn was left on the front lawn of an Oklahoma State fraternity last December and now police have arrested four men from another fraternity who are accused of placing the carcass there.
Luke Ackerley, Bennett Fady, Andrew King, and Brody Shelby are each facing a misdemeanor charge for unlawful removal or disposal of a carcass. The four men are members of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity.

The fraternity is off-campus. The animal had its stomach sliced open and was branded with profanity that was aimed at the Farm-House fraternity.
During the investigation police described the act as a 'cruel and weird' prank. Stillwater Police Lt. TJ Low said the dead longhorn was about a rivalry between the Alpha Gamma Rho and FarmHouse fraternities.
He added that despite the carcass showing up a day before the OSU vs. Texas Longhorns game, the act was not related to the Big 12 Championship.
“It’s a very cruel and weird prank,' said Lt. Low. 'Kind of hard to fathom, this doesn’t happen in Stillwater.”
At the time, authorities said the initial necropsy results showed the animal was suffering from a natural disease.
