On Friday, a robbery occurred at our local Walmart. The Bristow Police Department received a 911 call that there had just been a robbery at the service desk at Walmart. The Walmart clerk told police that two suspects entered the store, handed her a note that said, “We are armed, please give us all your money.” The clerk did as the note requested. The suspects were last seen running towards Collins Elementary and the high school. All schools were immediately put on lockdown for the safety of the kids. After the Bristow PD called an all clear, the kids were dismissed to attend their homecoming parade. The case is still an active investigation.
