On Monday, March 14, Creek County Sheriff's office received a call about an alleged homicide just west of Sapulpa, where a body was found inside a residence near 111th and 161st West Ave. The name of the victim is being held since the case is still under investigation and the sheriff's department is trying to figure out a motive and are conducting interviews.
The sheriff's department has arrested 31 year old, Aaron Elkins, in connection with the alleged murder. Elkins was booked into Creek County Justice Center on alleged charges of first degree murder and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle., with a court appearance of April 12, 2022. The charges and bail amounts may change after court appearances and may not be current.
