This is a follow up to a story that ran in the November 28, issue of the Bristow News.
The names of the man and woman who were killed following the fatal crash on Hwy. 16, Bristow, on Nov. 25. have been released. The Oklahma Highwy Patrol identified the woman as Crystal Price, of Bristow, and the male passenger as Dario Hendrix, of Modesto, California.
The Mannford police pulled the couple over for a traffic violation, but for unknown reasons, they drove away. A chase began in Mannford and ended on Hwy 16, near 321st West Street, when the Oklahoma Highway Patrol got involed in the the pursuit. The OHP did a tactical pit manuever to stop the car. Both Price and Hendrix died in the crash.
Records show that Hendrix had been convicted in Creek County of criminal misdemeanor, assault on a police officer, threaten to perform act of violence, obstructing an officer, and public intoxication.
