On Monday, July 22, 2024 Bristow Public Schools announced free meals for all students for the school year 2024-2025. This includes breakfast and lunch for all students. More Oklahoma School districts are opting into a federal program for free breakfast and lunch to all students. A ruling change from the US Department of Agriculture in 2023 allows districts with 25%, with the old rate being 40%, of its students in a low income category to offer free lunches to all students. Another way that Bristow Public Schools is helping to make sure no child goes hungry.
The first day of school for the 2024-2025 school year is Aug. 8. Bristow Public Schools will be hosting its meet and greet on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 4 – 6 p.m. for all sites. Sixth grade transition will also be on Aug. 6, from 8 – 11:30 a.m. and Freshman Connection “Come and Go”will be from 8:30 – 11 a.m.
