On Friday, Sept. 13, 2024, Depew Chief Brandon Cooper arrested Depew resident Steve Quinones. Quinones is charged with alledged forcible sodomy and child sexual abuse.
An adult female told Chief Cooper that on the morning of Sept. 4, 2024, around 4:15 a.m. she walked into her daughters room and observed Quinones, her daughters father, sexually molesting her. The female stated that she yelled, “What the hell is going on in here!” Quinones allegedly told her that it was his house and what happens in the house, stays in that house and to keep their mouth shut.
Cooper got a judge to issue an emergency protective order on Quinones on Sept. 9, 2024. Sept. 11 a SANE examine was done and on Sept. 12 the Tulsa Child Advocacy Unit conducted a forensic interview with the young girl where she explained all the ways Quinones had been allegedly molesting her since she was seven years old.
Quinones was booked into Creek County Jail on the two charges. Count one, forcible sodomy, carries a $300,000 bond and Count Two, child sexual abuse carries a $200,00 bond, a total of a $500,000 bond was imposed on Quinones.
