The Bristow City Council held a special meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
Roll call was made and all members present, the council approved adopting a Resolution to increase the number of Industrial Authority trustees from 5 to 8. Trustees shall have experience in the area of business industry, manufacturing , real estate or banking.
The council went into executive session to discuss employment and compensation of a police chief, a deputy police chief, a public works director, a water billing supervision/public works secretary and the employment of Justice Sweger as librarian for the public library.
Upon returning to the council chambers from the executive session, the council voted to table the employment of each position except the employment of Justice Sweger as librian until the April 7 meeting.
