Bristow Library awarded $20,000
grant
The Bristow Public Library has received $20,000 from the Libraries Transforming Communities grant. This is the third round of the grant for the library. For the first round grant, the library developed outreach services to Rainbow Health Care and Woodland Village, implemented an Autism Spectrum support group, and created a sensory room for the library. The second and third rounds of the grant have allowed the library to maintain these services, host presenters, and take the groups on field trips. Library Director Justice Sweger states “These services have been very beneficial to our community, and we are extremely happy that we will be able to offer them for another year.”
