State walks away from tens of millions meant for needy families

State leaders have a complicated relationship with federal grant money.They love federal cash. Just don’t tell them what to do with it or how to do it. That’s caused the state to walk away from tens of millions of dollars meant to help Oklahomans in need.

When the calendar turns to Sept. 1, it brings with it Oklahoma’s first major hunting season of the fall. Dove hunting is highly anticipated by thousands of hunters.But if you’ve never tried dove hunting, it’s very easy to get started.
