Governor signs “Protect Our Kids Act” into law

The Protect Our Kids Act, authored by Rep. Derrick Hildebrant, R-Catoosa, has been signed into law. The measure is designed to strengthen transparency and accountability in cases involving alleged abuse or sexual misconduct by school employees.

Service Animal protection bill becomes law

House Bill 1178 became law after Rep. Marilyn Stark, RBethany, successfully led an override of the governor’s veto. The bill strengthens Oklahoma’s laws regarding service animals, ensuring greater protection for individuals with disabilities.

BHS dual credit to college degree graduates
