Dear Editor – As many Bristow citizens know, Bristow Endeavor Healthcare LLC (Endeavor) will no longer be operating a hospital in Bristow as of January 1st, 2022.

Joe Jackson

Joe Jackson died in 2008, at the age of 97. He will be remembered as an excellent teacher at Bristow High School, teaching government and debate to students of classes in the 1940’s and leading the local debate team to a national victory in 1940.

Where Are You Going?

The young man was lonely and depressed. He walked out of his apartment and just kept walking. After going a few miles it dawned on him that he would have to stop at some point. A bridge went over several large streams. After crossing he went to his right. He had been here many times before.

The young man posted on Facebook that he was feeling worthless. People were not coming around like they once did. He felt that they were lying to him. He wondered why he was alive. Are you feeling alone? This is the loneliest time of year, especially for the elderly.
