Spring Sports are in full swing during the final nine weeks of the year. The high school boys golf team finished second out of 17 teams at the Seminole tournament on Wednesday..

I have had the honor of coaching these young men and women in powerlifting, football, and track. Yesterday, Matt and Fabian competed alongside juniors: Angus Ponder, JaCorey Chance, and Cache Henson at the large school state powerlifting meet. All the boys hit great numbers. Matt placed 3rd in the 242 lb class against some really tough competition. Fabian was the 275 lb weight class state champion!! Blake Cooper came to support them. He competed last week with the boys at the Northeast Regional. Earlier this week, Blair Chaney won the 136 lb class state title for Oklahoma Girls Powerlifting!! She competed alongside fellow pirate lifters: Jordyn Greenwood, Jamison McNeil, Sarah Wilson, and Rosie Allen. It has been an honor to work with these kids. Bristow is blessed with some strong and amazing young people!! If you see any of them, congratulate them. They put a ton of work in after practices and on their own time to accomplish what they do!! I will definitely miss these seniors.
