36th Annual Wildflower Run Honors Shannon Hilburn

If April showers bring May flowers, then what do the flowers bring? The Wildflower Run, of course! Bristowans of all ages look forward to the second Saturday in May each year when local festivities awaken within the community, and the Wildflower Run gets the community moving and active.

Tornado sirens and community safety

Last Friday, the City of Bristow sounded tornado sirens as a dangerous storm approached and a tornado warning was issued for the Bristow area. However, some citizens in areas of the city did not hear the warning.The sirens simply are not loud enough in certain areas of town.
