Separation from God is a person’s greatest problem, and because of that separation, one cannot experience the abundant life coming from a personal relationship with God.

Life is filled with a great many problems. Sometimes they may even seem overwhelming. That’s when we hear people ask the questions: “Where is God?” “Why doesn’t He answer?” And while God loves you and created you to know Him personally, separation from Him is our chief and most significant problem.

From the beginning of time, we were created to commune with, to love and adore God, and to have God love him. That is the purpose for our existence. To praise, to worship, and have intimacy with God.

Hear the Word of our Lord . . . Isaiah 59:1-2 (NLT): “1Listen! The Lord’s arm is not too weak to save you, nor is His ear too deaf to hear you call.2It’s your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, He has turned away and will not listen anymore.

He is saying, if you have sin in your life, if you are not obeying ALL His decrees and commandments, if you have unconfessed sin in your life . . . you can pray 24 hours every day . . . BUT “Because of your sins, He has turned away and will not listen TO YOU anymore.”

The ONLY prayer He will hear from you is the sinner’s prayer . . . a prayer of repentance: Admit that you have sinned (tell God you’re sorry); believe that Christ died for you (receive Him by faith); and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of your life.

“Lord Jesus Christ – Son of God,

Have Mercy on Me a Sinner”

You can have the peace of knowing Him personally!
