Throughout the last 2 weeks, Bristow Historical Society has been informing Bristowans of an incredible opportunity to boost funding for its Bristow Town Square Renovation Project. Kubota’s Hometown Proud previously awarded 20 hometowns with $10K grants each. Those recipients then earned the opportunity to win additional votes, increasing their grants to $50K.
Bristow Historical Society received a $10K grant for its Town Square Renovation Project and found itself competing against the Vocational Technical Program at the Lighthouse Ranch in Lorranger, Louisiana for the larger grant. Bristowans and interested parties could visit www.KubotaHometown-Proud.com to vote. Voters could vote once each day from each verified email account through August 14. Additionally, each vote cast also entered individual voters in a sweepstakes for a Kubota zero-turn mower or sub-compact tractor.
As of Monday evening, August 12, BHS had received 2,806 votes to Lighthouse Ranch’s 4,217.
