I expect to see vast improvement from years past. We have a very competitive group of girls who are coming into Slowpitch with the mentality that it is going to help prepare them for the fall, that it is going to make them better softball players, which is what each of them wants to be.
The goal for the team is to make the Slowpitch State Tournament. These girls have been to State in Fastpitch the last two falls, and it's a feeling and accomplishment that they want again. They truly want to be the best, and that's what makes them the best group to be around.
