The 7th grade boys basketball season of 2026 was an awesome run. They had a winning streak of 3, winning against Berryhill, Sperry, and Perkins. According to a player on the team, the top 5 players were Caeydn, Sean, Malachi, Layton, and Gunner S. The team raised money for Bristow Middle School and worked together to make a magnificent team.
The team overcame hard challenges throughout the season. They had a coach drop out in the middle of the season, which can be challenging and hard to overcome. Also, they had to overcome new players joining in the middle of the season. The basketball team, even while overcoming hard tasks, won plenty of games.
While playing in their basketball games they have made big comebacks with the score. For example, when they were playing Cleveland they came back with 18 points, winning the game. These boys really know how to work the court!
The boys basketball team worked together and improved their skills mentally and physically. Their coaches, Coach Weever and Coach Hopgood, helped the team by using discipline and practicing very hard to make the team better than they were before. For example, their coaches taught them special plays to do in the game which helped them win.
The team had very good team work and got along together better than most teams. According to one of the players, they had hardly no fights, no arguments and worked together as a team very well. The boys were mature and handled their arguments well. Together they make a superb team!
At games the boys raised money for our school. The admission fee was 5 dollars and many people came to watch our team. They have supported each other, our school, and the reputation of the Bristow Middle School boys basketball team.
