Anna Q was born July 24, 1926 to Jay Calvin and Nettie Lou (Loftis) Phillips. Jay homesteaded in Delaware County, Oklahoma. Remarkably, all 11 of their children lived into adulthood. Anna had an active childhood swimming, climbing trees and riding horses.

Brenda McKay, 69 year old Woodward resident passed away Friday, Nov. 20, 2020 in Enid. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020, in the Magnolia Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Bristow.

Shirley Nadean Wahl was born Aug. 5, 1942, to Leonard and Sibyl Webster, in Bristow. She departed this life Nov. 18, 2020, at the age of 78 years, three months and 13 days. Shirley chose to stay home when she had her first child, but went back later to complete her GED.

Richard Eugene Podschun was born July 22, 1950, to Clifford and Iva Podschun in Wichita, Kansas. He departed this life Nov. 21, 2020, at the age of 70 years, three months and 30 days. Rick as known by most was a long time Bristow area resident.

Evelyn LaDell Fisher, 1929 - 2020

Evelyn LaDell Fisher died at her home southeast of Bristow on Nov. 16, 2020, at the age of 90. Because of the Covid-19 epidemic, a service will take place at a later date to celebrate her life. She was born to Leo and Ruby Kinder on Dec. 8, 1929, in Clovis New Mexico, the forth of six children.

Frances Marie (Barnett)Allen, 1958 - 2020

Frances was a resident of Bristow. Everyone knew her as sister. She went to be with the lord on Nov. 6, 2020. She was born on June 25, 1958, in Claremore to Joseph and Eleanor Rachael Barnett. She attended Bristow High School and graduated in 1976.
