Nancy Van Orden-Saul, of Bristow, passed away Jan. 19, 2021, at the age of 75 following a long illness. Nancy was born in Natick, Massachusetts, Nov. 25, 1946, to Barbara Joan Dowell and Robert Charles Van Orden.

Wilma Annetta Ashley was born the second child of Clemon and Zenobia Ashley on March 19, 1941 in the small, yet prominent town of Boley. Wilma grew up in Boley and its surrounding towns in her early childhood, having ultimately settling in Bristow.

Michael De Wayne Eslick

Michael De Wayne Eslick was born Oct. 11, 1973, to Clarence D. and Dulean Delores Eslick in Little Rock, Arkansas. He departed this life Jan. 20, 2022 at the age 48 years. Mike was a lifetime resident of Bristow, moving here with his family at the age of three.

Douglas Harden Blansett

Douglas Harden Blansett was born Dec. 31, 1939, to Doris and Charles Blansett in Tulare, California. He departed this life Jan. 17, 2022, at the age of 83. He graduated from Bristow High School. He then enlisted into the United States Air Force where he served his country during the Vietnam war.

Glen Harold Petersen, “Pete” “PaPete”

Born May 5, 1943, in Ashland, Wisconsin, to parents Harold Petersen and Delores Wisner Petersen. Glen Harold Petersen went to be with his Savior January 9th 2022 at the age of 78. Pete was preceded in death by his father Harold, mother Delores and his brother Leroy.

Bristol Jean Fisher

Bristol Jean Fisher, age 79, of Bristow, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021, in the comfort of her own home. She was born on Aug. 17, 1942. She married her husband Mitch on Aug. 26, 1999, at the Nazarene Church in Harrison, Arkansas.

Hubert Dale McGuire

Hubert Dale McGuire was born December 8, 1944 to Marsh (Pid) and Jessie McGuire in Bristow, Oklahoma. He departed this life Jan. 15, 2022, at the age of 77 years 1 month and 7 days. Hubert grew up in and around the Bristow area. He was a 1962 graduate of Depew High School.

Billy Don Strutton

Billy Don Strutton was born on Aug. 2, 1956 in Wichita Kansas to Mary Ann Carlton and Don Eugene Strutton. He was called home to Heaven on Jan. 15, 2022 at the age of 65 years. The oldest of four children, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy and Harold Strutton; and by his father.

Stephen Brent Wheeler

Stephen Brent Wheeler was born Feb. 27, 1960, to Cletis and Monta Jean Wheeler in Sapulpa. He departed this life Dec. 28, 2021, at the age of 61. He graduated from Bristow High School in 1978 and later attended Mid-American Christian University graduating with his bachelor’s degree in 1996.
