Zelda June Ashley was born Nov. 2, 1942, to Argus and Melva Houston in Creek County. She departed this life Oct. 16, 2023, at the age of 80.
She graduated from Slick High School. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church. Zelda enjoyed being outdoors tending to the cattle and horses as well as gardening. She also enjoyed going to garage sales, arts, and crafts, and attending horse races.
She is survived by one daughter, Tracy Reynolds; one son, Johhny Dale Reynolds; three sisters, Linda K. Blansett, MaryAnn Ryan, and Darlene Gaskins and husband Jerry.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Kenneth Ray Reynolds.
Graveside services were held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Oct. 20, 2023, at Sunrise cemetery, Kellyville. Services are under the direction of Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Home.
