Yvonne Ylonen

Yvonne Ylonen was born Nov. 12, 1948 to John and Clara Dutze in Chicago, Illinois. She departed this life May 11, 2023 at the age of 74 years, five months and 29 days. She had been a resident of Bristow for six years.

Reaching her teenage years during the turbulent sixties, she really grew into her own as an accomplished part-time professional dancer, entertaining crowds at various trade and modeling shows; appearing at Chicagoland theaters. One of Yvonne’s favorite sixties group was the Beatles, in 1965, Yvonne, her sister Diane, and a fried, Lorraine went to a Beatles concert in Chicago. Decked out in Beatles type clothing, Yvonne had her hair cut in a “mop-top” style, which was the Beatles trademark look.

Yvonne was a 1966 graduate of Madonna High School. She served her state and country as a member of the National guard setting out to make her way in the world. She did pursue higher education but ultimately perfected her skills as an administrative assistant, building a career in such areas as manufacturing and law offices alike. Yvonne’s knowledge of computers and the programs needed to run an office made her a great asset. She continued in this career forty-eight plus years before retiring in late 2016.

Yvonne is survived by one brother, Mike Dutze of Springfield, Missouri; three sisters, Diane Patzer of Schaumburg, Illinois, Annette Nance and Marie Goss both of Chicago, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Clara Dutze.
