Nancy Calleen Evans was born May 25, 1950, to Calvin and Maxine Matherly in Canadian, Texas. She departed this life April 8, 2023, at the age of 72.
She was a 1968 graduate of Drumright High School. She was united in marriage to Alan Evans and the two raised four sons, Will, Clay, Jason, and Brad. They enjoyed over 46 years together before his passing July 31, 2021.
Nancy had worked for the Creek County Health department for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, fishing, camping in the RV, playing bingo and gardening.
She is survived by four sons, Will Evans and wife Heather,

of Oklahoma City, Clay Evans, of San Antonio, Texas, Jason Evans and wife Sunshine, of Yale, Oklahoma, Brad Evans of Mannford; eight grandchildren, Cade Evans, Cooper Evans, Keston Foster, MaKayla Evans, Calvin Evans, Cort Evans, Laurynn Hamm, Katcv Marshall; two great grandchildren, Jace Bean and Lillian Bean; sister-in-law, Elaine Matherly; nephew and nieces, David Matherly, Theresa Matherly, Laura Kay Harding, and Kimberly Matherly. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Danny Matherly.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m, Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Fairlawn Cemetery in Cushing. Services are under the direction of Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Home, Bristow. Condolences can be seen at www. hutchinsmaplesfuneralhome.
