Brenda Lorene Martin, 70, was greeted in the loving arms of our Lord on Aug. 11, 2023. Brenda was born on July 22, 1953 to Lorene and Marvin White, the middle of three children.
Brenda met the love of her life, Clyde Martin, and married her high school sweetheart on July 23, 1971.
Brenda enjoyed being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She shared her love for gardening and bird-watching with her children and grandchildren throughout the years. Her grandchildren were the light of her life in her later years, and she was always there to support them in their activities and life events. Her father, Marvin White, and children Myrna Martin and Shawn Martin preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Clyde Martin, and children Clay and Brynn Martin, April Martin, and daughter-in-law Cheryl Carpenter Martin. Her grandchildren are Rachel Martin, Adam Martin, Zion and Bridgett Wilson, Marie Saettler, Courtney Saettler, Elizabeth Martin and Susannah Martin along with one great-grandchild, Clyde Wilson. Brenda also leaves behind her mother Lorene White, her brother Marvin Earl White and wife Trudy, Sister Terrie Baker and husband Patrick along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be at 12 p.m. (Noon), August 19, 2023 at the Depew Church of God with Reverend Marvin White officiating. Services are under the direction of Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Home.
