Local businesses receive grant

Three Bristow-area businesses have been awarded funding through the Oklahoma Innovation Expansion Program (OIEP), according to information released this week by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce.

The program supports Oklahoma companies that are expanding operations, investing in equipment and infrastructure, and creating new jobs.

The Bristow-area businesses receiving awards are: Circle B Underground Vertical Aerospace PAS MRO Combined, the three projects represent more than $650,000 in planned investment and 17 anticipated new jobs in the Bristow area.

City officials said the awards are encouraging news for the local economy and reflect continued business growth in the submitted article: community. 'We are excited to see local companies investing and growing right here in Bristow,' said Bristow City Mayor Kris Wyatt 'These kinds of projects create opportunities for our residents and help strengthen our local economy.'

'By investing in these three companies that have already contributed significantly to our state's economy, we are creating real job growth in Bristow and encouraging hundreds of thousands of dollars in new investment. The Oklahoma Innovation Expansion Program is administered by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce and is designed to help businesses across the state expand and compete more effectively.
