Who Will Do It for You?

America’s opinion outlets typically fill vie wers with bad news. Even if it seems like good news, it won’t be for everyone. People have the freedom to choose what they agree with.

Nearly fifty years ago, some economic opinionators/analy sts announced,“If you haven’t bought a house, in five years you won’t be able to afford it!” That was discouraging and false news. Many have.

Bad news attracts the attention of many people. A complaint is easier to hear than compliments.

Throughout world history, people have been cruel to one another. In fact, the first crime recorded in the Bible was murder! Abel’s older brother did it to him. God had warned Cain, “…if you do not do well, sin is lurking at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it”(Genesis 4:7). Cain and countless others haven‘t listened to God.

Notice that everyone on Earth, since humanity began, is related: “As for you, be fruitful and multiply; populate the earth abundantly…“I certainly will require your lifeblood; from every animal, I will require it. And from every person, from every man as his brother, I will require the life of a person” (Genesis 9:5).” Only eight people were on the ark when the flood came. They descended from Adam and Eve. All people today came through Noah’s family. God’s Word tells us!.

Next, in Genesis 9:1-7,God makes a biological (and spiritual - soul) distinction between “every animal…(and) every person.” Biologists say people are animals. God says, Nope!

These truths from God may explain why many people behave as if they were unreasoning animals! If a person thinks he is, he’ll act like it. Only humans have the reasoning abilities to build a house, including measuring, sawing wood, hammering nails, installing plumbing, and wiring for electricity. If you were an animal, you’d have no conscience, no unique God-given talent. You'd have no soul! You would have no hope in life, nor hope of heaven!

You know that evil exists in our world. What if you were brutally violated, or one of your children suffers horrible abuse? You’d want justice. Evil people must be punished. But what if you don't know who did it?

Evil people are already caught-byGod! TheLord says He is always with us (Philippians4:6-7). God’s peace comforts the hurting heart.

“…He Himself has said, ‘I will never desert you, nor will I ever abandon you,’” (Hebrews 13:5-6). Also, memorize Romans 12:19, which emphasizes that people do not need to take their own revenge because God will do it.

The Lord is with you! Trust His justice. He will do it for you!

All will hear God’s final Word and receive recompense for deeds done in the body, whether good or evil! (2 Corinthians 5:10).
