“The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth” (Psalm 145:18). “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18).
Have you ever witnessed a disturbing event? The shock may bring out, “Oh, Lord, no!” This isn’t what the Psalmist means. He says, “call on Him in truth.”
Please read what Jesus says in John 4:24. Calling on God “in spirit and in truth” comes with a sincere and thoughtful heart. God requires it!
Please also examine Paul’s message to the Athenians (Acts 17:16-31). Notice: “seek God…He is not far from each one of us” (Acts 17:27).
You can be freed from your fears of dying alone and going into hell’s eternal death: “For the…Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death” (Romans 8:2).
If you sin once, you will die, but not when the Spirit of Jesus is in you!
Paul says, “if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He…will also give life to (you)… through His Spirit who dwells in you…the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God… However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. If Christ is in you…if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus…will also give life to (you)…through His Spirit who dwells in you…if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons and daughters of God. We are children of God…He who searches the hearts…He intercedes for the saints…” “If God is for us, who is against us? …Who will separate us from the love of Christ?…. We overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Please read Romans8.)
