Bristow Holiness Church celebrates completion of a new chapter for the church and the community

A long-awaited day of joy and gratitude arrived this October as Bristow Holiness Church, located at the corner of First and Main in Bristow, celebrated the grand opening of its newly completed sanctuary. The event marked the culmination of a project that began in February 2024 and has stood as a symbol of faith, perseverance, and growth for the congregation.

This is the third church building the Bristow Holiness congregation has constructed on the same site, each one a reflection of both spiritual renewal and community progress. The latest expansion came after years of prayer and planning. The construction process required removing the north parking lot and portions of the previous structure before laying a new concrete foundation and updating utilities to support the larger facility.

Throughout late 2024, visible signs of transformation began to take shape. By winter, custom gothic-style windows were in place, casting beautiful light across the emerging sanctuary. For members who stopped by to volunteer or pray during the build, each step represented more than physical progress, it was a reminder of the steady faith that had carried their church through generations.

The new space offered a fresh sense of possibility while maintaining the warm, welcoming spirit that has always defined Bristow Holiness Church.

During the dedication, church leaders expressed their deep appreciation for everyone who contributed time, labor, and prayer to make the vision a reality. “This new building isn’t just about walls and windows,” one member shared. “It’s about what God continues to do in our hearts and in this community.”

Bristow Holiness Church welcomes all to join them for worship, Sundays at 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., and Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m., with a simple invitation: Come as you are, and let God meet you where you are.
