Like many rural community squads, the DHS Cheer Squad is less about elite competition and more about fostering a tight-knit community spirit. In our small town, cheerleading is an integral part of our community. It provides a source of energy and school spirit that extends beyond the sidelines of a football game. For many, this community-oriented program has offered valuable opportunities to develop confidence and leadership skills. While access to resources may differ from our surrounding towns, our squad thrives on the strong bonds between teammates and a deep sense of hometown pride.
