Bristow High School celebrates dual credit to college degree graduates

Melanie Kent

Melanie will graduate with an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from TCC. She’s committed to Oklahoma City University, where she’ll compete as a STUNT athlete and study Exercise Science.

Corbin earned an Associate of Applied Science in Aviation Sciences from TCC. Next up, he plans to attend the FAA Academy to become an air traffic controller and then head to Oklahoma State University to get a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management.

Jadyn Goodson-Pelayo

Jadyn earned an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from TCC. On top of that, she completed a two-year Cosmetology program at Central Tech and is waiting on her State Board exam results. She’s heading to the University of Oklahoma Honors College to major in Environmental Science.

Jacklyn (Bella) Pestel-Duncan

Bella spent five semesters as a Dual Credit student and graduated with an Associate of Science in Pre-Nursing just a day before finishing high school. She’s planning to transfer to the University of Oklahoma to study Biology with a pre-med focus, hoping to work in pediatrics or become an orthopedic pediatric surgeon.

Elle Perkins

Elle also graduated with an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts alongside her high school diploma. After graduation, she plans to serve an 18-month mission with her church and then attend BYU-Idaho to major in English Education with a minor in History.
