An Oklahoma City man lost his life in an accident that occurred one mile west of Bristow, by mile marker 196, on the Turner Turnpike. The accident occurred around 7 a.m. on May 30, 2025.
The accident involved a 2014 Dodge Ram 3500 driven by Sergio Esabar, age 33, from Oklahoma City. The Dodge Ram had two passengers in the vehicle one Richard Arcgia, age 57, from OKC and two, German Vasquez, age 38, also from OKC, and a 2025 Volvo tractor trailer driven by Alexander Tolstikov, age 52, from Kissimmee, Florida.
The tractor-trailer rig was stopped for traffic. The Dodge struck the rear of the rig. Arcgia, passenger in the Dodge, was pronounced deceased at the scene. He was pinned in the vehicle for approximately three hours before being extracted by the Bristow Fire Department. The other two in the vehicle refused treatment at the scene and the tractor-trailer driver was not injured.The deceased and driver were wearing seat belts, Also the Tractor Trailer driver was wearing a seat belt. Only one passenger who was in th Dodge was not wearing a belt.
