Combining Classical, Modern and Pop, Tulsa Symphony's Bravo Brass Quintet Comes to the Freeland Center

Tulsa Symphony's Bravo Brass will take the stage at the Freeland Center in Bristow April 8 as they serve up a menu of great classical, modern and pop music. The 7:30 p.m. concert will be a culmination of a master class of brass students from area high schools. Along with Bristow High School, participating schools include Mannford, Cushing, Perkins and Stroud. They will bring their first chair players as part of the Master Class with an evening performance with the Tulsa Philharmonic Brass.

The Bravo Brass Quintet is a versatile and dynamic chamber ensemble composed of the fulltime, professional brass musicians of the Tulsa Philharmonic 'I'm really excited that Bravo Brass is coming to Bristow”, said Bristow High School Band Director, Nicole Cooper. “This amazing oppor tunity is allowing some of my students the chance to work one-on-one and in a small group setting with some professional musicians to better their own music al journey and advance their own skills.'

This is a free event with all donations going to the music programs at Bristow schools.
