The people of the Bristow area are invited to be a part of a Christian Healing Prayer Class. The class sessions will meet on Tuesday evenings during March and April from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. It is open to all people, regardless of their church. Participants who can afford it will be asked for a $2.00 per week offering to help offset costs. The class will be held in the Rhanda Foster Youth & Community Center of First United Methodist Church in Bristow.
The class will be taught by Chuck and Nancy Horton of Bristow. The Hortons have moved back to Bristow following retirement after 47 years of ministry. They have taught evangelism and healing ministry classes and workshops and have led healing revivals and retreats.
While they were still young in the ministry, they began to see God do some amazing healings. These events spurred them on to learn all they could about healing prayer. They made it a goal to learn from gifted healing ministers of various denominations and independent church backgrounds including United Methodists, Lutherans, Roman Catholics, Episcopalians, and non-denominational ministers.
