Bristow Community Center Host 2025 Martin Luther King, Jr. Program

The Bristow Community Center will be hosting this year’s 2025 Martin Luther King, Jr. Program. 

The theme for this event is: “Reclamation in Action” This program starts at 4 pm on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025, and will be held at the Bristow First United Methodist Church on 7th and Chestnut. 

The special guest speaker will be Reverend Anthony L. Scott who has served in the pastoral ministry for 31 years. He is in his sixteenth year as the lead pastor of the historic First Baptist Church North Tulsa. 

Pastor Scott graduated from Thomas A. Edison High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma then moved on to earn a Bachelor of Business
Administration from Langston University. He later earned both a Master of Theology and a Master of Ministry from Andersonville Theological Seminary.

He is the President of the Oklahoma Baptist State Convention, and Board Member of the Conference of National Black Churches.
