Storm Debris Retrieval
The City of Bristow announced on social media that tree debris caused by storm damage will be picked up through November 27. All debris must be stacked at the curb. For debris pickup, residents should call 918-367-2237, option 1, and provide their addresses.
Bunco for Blessings
November’s Bunco for Blessings Ladies’ bunco night was held Thursday, November 7, at 7:00 p.m. Sherry Fisher announced on social media that the event raised more than $200 for Harry’s Backpack program, feeding kids in need.
Wake Island Day
Saturday, December 7, Bristow Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 3656 will host a memorial event, honoring the brave souls of the Battle of Wake Island. The organization will play a movie, host activities for children, and food will be available.
Festivities begin at 10 a.m. and will run until 2 p.m.
Tree Lighting
Bristow’s Cowboy Christmas tree lighting will be held just before 6 p.m.
Touch of Christmas
Cornerstone Church, located at 114 East 7th Avenue, will host its annual Touch of Christmas drive-thru event from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Toys for children under the age of 12, groceries, and other goodies will be available. Walk-ups are not allowed, and children must be present to receive items. Prayer will also be available.
