Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute (OCSRI) continues its legacy of nursing excellence as four nurses join the ranks of the 2024 Great 100 Nurses of Oklahoma. This honor brings OCSRI's total to 43 recognized nurses since 2014, maintaining the institute’s high standards in oncology care.
The Great 100 Nurses of Oklahoma award is a prestigious honor that recognizes the top 100 nurses from a pool of over 400 nominees statewide. This achievement celebrates the highest measures of professionalism, mentorship and compassionate care within the nursing community, and OCSRI's continued recognition under this award reinforces the institute’s leading role as a quality cancer care provider in Oklahoma.
Congratulations to OCSRI’s 2024 Great 100 Nurses of Oklahoma Honorees: Kristi Carman, RN Lisa Bloxham, APRN-CNP, AOCNP Melissa Barnes, RN Shonna Jordan, RN Between clinic, hospital, infusion and research, the 2024 OCSRI honorees represent various departments within the institute, attesting to the wide range of expertise and dedication within its care team.

The Great 100 Nurses Foundation was established in 1985 by PK Scheerle, a registered nurse and entrepreneur in New Orleans, LA. The Great 100 Celebrations now recognize nurses in Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, North Carolina and Texas. The Great 100 Celebrations raise funds that support nursing advocacy, research, scholarships and the publication of nursing discoveries.
