Night Golf

Bristow Golf Club will host “Glow in the Dark Night Golf ” this Friday, July 26. The event is sponsored by B & B Roofing & Construction and serves as a fundraiser for the Cash Tyler Strong Foundation, which aids families of children with complex medical needs. Night Golf is listed as a 4 man scramble, 18 hole, par 3 course event. Entry costs are $500 per team. Interested parties may contact Brian Pinson at 918-633-2697 or Linda Kay Herman at 918-640-5784.

Free Meals for Students

On Monday, Bristow Public Schools announced that all students will receive free meals at breakfast and lunch for the upcoming school year.

Ladies Bunco Night

Local ladies, playing bunco to raise money and bless a local cause, will next host Bunco for Blessings at the Center of Hope at 102 North Main Street, on August 1, at 7 p.m.. Their next bunco game night will raise money for Rotary Club of Bristow’s Back-to-School program. Ladies Bunco Night is open to the public, and women may play for $5.

BPS’ Meet-and-Greet

Bristow Public Schools will hold an all-sites meet-and-greet event from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, for the upcoming school year. Incoming 6th graders and freshmen also have specific times for introductions to their new schools. Sixth graders may attend from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and freshmen from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., according to BPS’ social media pages.
