Katy’s Tidbits from around the community

Wildflower Meadow

Progress is being made on Wildflower Meadow, the newly planned housing addition south of Vertical Aerospace. In recent months, signs were erected and the land cleared. Next, roadways and utility access became visible. Most recently, a privacy fence and sign, advertising home pricing, appeared along the westernmost edge of the property, running parallel to the road. Although no home construction appeared to have begun, the site is clearly making progress.

Mowing & Street Safety

Did you know that mowing or blowing grass clippings and other natural debris such as leaves and twigs into roadways causes safety hazards? Motorcycles and bicycles, in particular, can lose traction on loose grass clippings. Therefore, most cities pass ordinances making such disposal citable offenses. Bristow City Hall recently reminded social media users that Bristow also has such an ordinance and encouraged all residents to keep streets clean.
