Back in the day,
• Stores were closed on Sunday.
• You owned a baseball card that would be worth more than $5,000 today.
• Seeing Elvis on the Ed Sullivan show.
• Being a blackboard monitor and clapping erasers.
• Putting “kick me” on the back of your best friends shirt.
• Making book covers out of paper bags.
• When you made rubber band guns.
• Eating something with out knowing how many calories it had, or caring, or even knowing what a calorie was.
• When we counted our blessings instead of calories. Getting in a car and going on a Sunday afternoon drive with the family. Being happy with a little box of raisins. When we used to laugh at old people when we were young. Do you recall what was so funny? And when cars had running boards.
