The Big Top is coming to Bristow. On Sept. 22, 2023, the Culpepper and Merriweather Circus will be raising its big top for the Bristow community.
For 32 weeks of the year, Culpepper & Merriweather circus brings an action-packed 90 minute show to over 200 towns in 17 different states! Specializing in affordable, family friendly entertainment. The show will feature Big Cats, tight rope artists, aerialists, foot jugglers, horses, daredevils and much more to entertain the crowd. Bring the whole family as everyone, no matter the age, will enjoy the show.
The event is sponsored by the Bristow Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) #141. Part of the proceeds will go to the Bristow FOP. The Big Top will be set up in the city softball field across from the swimming pool. There will be two shows, one at 5 p.m. and one at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at a discounted price before circus day. ($13 for adults and $8 for children and senior citizens). On circus day the tickets will only be sold at the box office and will be $16 for adults and $9 for children 2-12 and seniors over 65 years of age.
