A motorcycle fatality occurred six and a half miles northwest of Sapulpa. Dillon Gibson, age 30, of Sapulpa, was riding his 2023 Harley Davidson motrocycle when he tried to pass Chris Lott, age 58, also from Sapulpa. Lott was driving a 2004 Subaru Forester and was turning into a private driveway when Gibson allegedly tried to pass him on the right. Gibson was also reported as driving the motorcycle at a high rate of speed. Gibson was taken to St. Francis Hospital, admitted in critical condition but later it was reported that he was pronounced deceased from massive injuries.
