The Bristow Historical Society is raising funds to relight the old Chrysler /Plymouth tower which has been dormant for years. The society recently purchased the lot on 9th and Main, where the sign will be relocatd and the plan is to have the 120 ft. tall, neon sign renovated and working again. The historical society plans on constructing a parklike setting on the lot and a wall will be constructed out of the bricks. Tourists traveling Route 66 will be able to stop and enjoy the surroundings and take a photo or two.
