The votes were counted and Bristow now has a new mayor, Kristine Wyatt. Wyatt has been a city council woman for the last three years and feels, as mayor, that she can bring to Bristow what the community needs to move forward in the future and make Bristow grow and prosper. Three candidates were up for election Rick Pinson, who was seeking reelection, Kris Wyatt and Justus Riley. With a total of five absentee mail in votes, five early voters and 650 votes on election day, Wyatt won the election. Pinson received 251 votes or 38.03 percent, Wyatt received 392 votes or 59.39 percent while Riley received 17 votes or 2.58 percent.
