Would you agree that we are living in challenging times in our world, nation, state and even our local city? Everyone, including believers are faced with so many challenges resulting in stress and anxiety. In recent days, the talk around Bristow has been primarily focused on the steps we need to take in making our community a better place. A better place for families and for businesses, for health and prosperity, for strong tradition and for steady growth. These are the conversations that we do indeed need to have. The Bristow Ministerial Alliance wants to do its very best to be a part of making Bristow better. We believe that the greatest outcomes for our community begin with prayer.
Corporate prayer is often the least attended meeting in many of our churches. Yet, we know that corporate prayer is God's tool for spiritual transformation both locally and globally. The Word of God teaches us that when the people of God humble themselves, pray and turn from their wicked ways, then He would hear us, forgive our sins and heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14). In an effort to comply with this biblical admonition, The Bristow Ministerial Alliance is hosting a Citywide Prayer Meeting. It will be held on Sunday, March 5th at 6:00 pm at the Freeland Center located on OK-16 & N. Ashe Street.
The goal of this gathering is to see our community come together to pray and seek God for the welfare and prosperity of our city. The Bible says when God's people come together in unity, there he would command a blessing (Psalm 133). Please, join us as we pray for one another and the pressing needs of our beloved community. Let's engage this divine opportunity to unite and pray for a move of God in this great community of Bristow!
